**Q: Will this binding machine really bind 13” long paper**
A: There would be a small gap at the top or bottom, depending on how you punch. The max size is A4 paper (8.27 x 11.69 inches), so in theory 12" is max. But you could just eye-ball it. It works great, so for the cheaper cost, maybe eye-balling is worth it for you...

**Q: Does the handle  fold down for easy storage?**
A: It does not fold down...but you could unscrew the side bolts and take the handle off...not that that method would be convenient, because then you'd have to put it back on with each use.

**Q: How do you adjust the machine for the binding?**
A: I'm not positive what you mean by 'adjust', but I think what mean is just how to bind as well?? When punching the holes, pull the lever down; when binding, insert the comb in the back of the 'teeth' and push the lever back to open the comb. There should be a video to watch this on the item page...I think...

**Q: can it cut a plastic card like a gift card?**
A: I haven’t tried anything that thick, but will cut laminated cardstock.

This works very well for oversized paper, like A4 or 12X9" paper. The cut blades are sharp so punching the comb-holes is very easy compared to others I tried. I am totally pleased with this binding machine. Especially at such an excellent price.

I am taking some online coding classes and wanted some simple, custom notebooks/textbooks for my courses so that I could make the most out of the resources provided by the class. I wanted to be able to easily and quickly make the notebooks whenever I need them. That’s why I purchased this rather than going to the printing store every time I need a new book. I have never used a contraption like this before. It is very straight-forward and easy to use. I purchased this specific one because it has a full handle bar and I wanted something that was easy for me to push down on. It’s great! It comes with everything I needed and is ready to use out of the box. All you need is a printer and some paper(it does not come with clear covers, but I personally don’t need them). It comes with 100 of the black spines so I will be set for a while! I honestly think it is a good deal for the quality of the product and what I personally use it for.
