Loud and powerful yet refined and under control. It immediately became my all time favorite in my collection of over 24 similar style lighters. This torch is compact yet very very powerful and initially a joy to use. Unfortunately this love affair was short lived.It’s now 6 months later. I always used good butane and this is now my third time cleaning it. When I say cleaning I mean breaking it down to the piece part level, soaking in acetone, scrubbing parts with brush and reassemble. This takes a considerable amount of time but I really liked this torch and wanted it to function properly. But now after 6 months it’s a paperweight. Very frustrating and a real shame. The price point puts it on the expensive side and the required maintenance for a 6 month lifespan is ridiculous.
