Review: A very handy scanner - Scans are attached and speak for themselves, this is at the highest quality setting, 600 dpi. It comes with everything you need (power, USB A to USB B cable), it scans reasonably quickly even at higher quality settings, I was able to scan about 50 family photos in one afternoon after work. I haven't personally yet had need for the feature to scan a pile of documents loaded onto the tray, but I assume I could get it to work if I needed to. I like that it's reasonably light weight, without feeling especially fragile, and can easily be stored elsewhere if I don't want it sitting on my desk. The software for this is easy to use for those vaguely experienced, otherwise a little wheel spinning is to be expected. Here are features that I think make the “Xerox XD-COMBO” stand out from others: • When a jam occurs, I was able to remove the jammed paper and retry. With other scanners, I was forced to restart the scan over completely. That can be frustrating when you’ve scanned 100+ pages and it jams near the end. • Allows you to merge and split PDF documents. So if you have say, 100 pages, you can scan them in batches and merge all into a single document. It also allows you to import any of your existing documents, so you can perform merges with them too. • Allows you to selectively perform edits (such as rotate or delete) multiple pages, prior to export. • With the option to auto-detect orientation and blank pages, I no longer had to manually delete blank pages or rotate pages that were in landscape mode. This is the best I’ve seen to support efficient office automation. • Cropping options even include “snapping” the page size to the closest matching standard document sizes (e.g. Letter, A4). • You can configure the OneTouch buttons to control document automation from scan to target storage. • Supports export of documents to cloud storage (Google Drive). The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that when a scan is complete thumbnail images of the pages scanned appear in a column on the left side of the software.window that has the larger image of the selected page. By left clicking and holding a page in the thumbnail column it can be moved up or down. By right clicking a page a pop up shows options that include: rotate (Left, Right, 180), Delete, Save (that page). There is also an option to add pages (from a file or the scanner) to the pages that were just scanned. All of these options are available before saving the entire document. I often do magazine articles and will delete the full pages of advertisements from my documents. (Note: I just added two photos to my original review that show what I just described). **Q: Can you scan multiple pages and have them save as separate PDF's?** A: Yes **Q: Can anyone comment on the included software? Is it easy to organize documents with it?** A: The included software is that Visioneer PaperPort junk and, unfortunately, most flatbed scanners are now coming with that. When I did, I discovered (too late for return) that my shipment had EU and UK adaptor clips, but did not have a US adaptor clip. The power supply is designed with little sliding plastic clips that provide the prong configuration for each country, and you slide them directly into the power brick. These can't cost more than 10 cents to manufacture, but they aren't available from Xerox as separate parts. Attempting to use the EU clip with a US adaptor created an unstable connector. I had tried to purchase an aftermarket plug from Amazon, which was claimed to be compatible with the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner, but the plug sent did not fit the power port, so I am returning it. All else having failed, I contacted Xerox, only to learn that I would have to buy a new power supply for $44.40 plus FedEx shipping. I have waited more than 20 minutes and they still couldn't tell me the FedEx shipping cost. This has wasted hours of my time in total, and $265 for a device I've never been able to use. My recommendation? Don't choose Xerox products and don't purchase critical tech components from Amazon. And now I can't find a Windows 11 driver for the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner. (Xerox is a services company.
