I have another baby diaper bookbag that I was using prior to receiving this one and it was a bit heavy because of the material. But this bag is sooooo lightweight! The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable and I love the padding in the back of the bag too. Makes carrying it very comfortable. I absolutely adore all little details that Bamomby put into their diaper bag. From the amount of storage to the hidden space, I have a place for everything my baby will need. There is even room to sneak some stuff for myself too! With the easy way to carry as a backpack, I don’t have to worry about my shoulders hurting like when using those single strap bags. It even has extra secure straps attached for easy stroller use as well. It opens wide(ish), has tons of pockets, my husband doesn’t hate it, and the price was right. But, now that I’ve been using it for a few months I’m looking for a different one. It’s too tall and doesn’t open wide enough. Things just get piled inside so you have to dig to find what you want. The insulated pockets don’t easily fit our honest company bottles, but that may be a problem with the material they’re made of (they’re “stickier”). If I try to throw it over one shoulder, it’ll slip down. The zippers aren’t easily opened one handed. One of the magnets that holds the outside flap down never works. These are my complaints. Maybe they seem small, but when you have a toddler and a newborn you want things that will make your life easier.
