Tried my Lodge round cast iron trivet which has a number of round holes, since it was something I already take on outdoor trips. Works reasonably well so far. More happy with it that dragging a heavy pizza stone around. RVers might not be concerned by the stone. Biscuits, cinnamon rolls, small pizzas all came out well after a few tries with adjusting gas heat source. Just as with built in ovens a thermamator is essential. Largest item so far has been a 3lb meatloaf baked in square heavy ga. steel pan. Came out great, nice and juicy with a bit of crust. A grill mat cut to size works very well to warm up buns, rolls and such. Seems to give more uniform heating without dropping crumbs to oven base. Excellent for roasting veggies. A quick tortilla snack with melted cheese and pepperoni and onions on the grill mat turned out with a nice crisp crust. Melted cheese runoff came up with the tortilla, leaving no mess. You may need to have a flame right below the oven. That's why the gingerbread is lopsided but evenly cooked. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than expected except for bottom metal panel is contoured not flat *by R***R on August 29, 2023* Used this folding oven with the same manufacturer's folding camping stove which obviously werent designed for each other as the bottom of the folding oven is not flat, but has this indented contour to it that does not rest well/flat onto the stove which has a metal grate wires loop to rest pots atop. So the oven laid angled, not flat atop the stove wire pot wires so dubious it would not fall off, and thus also did not get full flame/heat distribution due to big air gap on one side and closer the other side of the base. The two manufacturer's prudcts together at full flame achieved only 325 degrees Fahrenheit which was hot enough to cook a pizza, but not to the recommended oven cooking spec of the pizza label instructions of 400 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you want to use this folding oven with a stove that doesn't have sufficient flat cooking surface you might want to buy a supplemental wire grate for better support. Else, the folding oven itself worked great and better than expected. Probably would want to get a second grate for inside the oven to be able to cook more than one level/item.
