Repeat to replace the slider. **Q: Does the slider lid come off for better cleaning? If yes, how?** A: Yes it comes off. There are two small tabs on the underside that you press against and it will pop out. After cleaning you just snap it back into the slide slots in the top of the lid. **Q: will a tervis handle fit on this stainless steel tumbler?** A: I went on the website of TERVIS and found my answer. his is a great product. **Q: What is the diameter of the straw hole? Important to get a straw that will fit in the hole... Please give me an inch or mm measurement.** A: Well I’m not sure the measurement but a QT straw fits as well as a large diameter drink straw that I would use for milk shakes or margs and also my daughter’s silicone straw fits tightly but you can force it in there and it just barely puts an indent in it. I love them and they make my cup more usable! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Slider Lid For Most 12oz Stainless Steel Mugs! *by N***. on January 12, 2021* I recently purchased a 12oz stainless steel coffee mug for-my coffee NOT TERVIS . I loved the color so much that I did not pay as much attention to the lid as I should have. The mug recently arrived and I went to put on the lid and I realized that the lid did NOT have a slider. It was an old style lid with an open spout on the edge for sipping. I remembered reading in the reviews comments that the coffee didn’t spill out and other comments to that effect. On the product page the company stated the liquids did not “slosh around” and leak. I tried to use with lid but I felt that the company had put one over on the consumer by supplying an old style inferior lid, especially after looking on Amazon and all the companies selling a 12oz stainless steel lid supplied a slider lid for about the same price point. I really hate packing up and sending a small item like a mug back, so J went on line to search for a slider lid for my mug. Since all the companies supply the slider lid it took me a really long time until I came across a lid for Tervis 12oz and 20oz stainless steel tumblers. I decided to take a plunge and ordered this slider lid. It arrived today and was delighted that it fit perfectly!!! Yay!!! I washed the lid in hot water and soap and placed it on the mug and left it there a while just to check the fit and to make sure that it didn’t pop up. It stayed in place perfectly. I recommend this lid for use on a 12oz stainless steel mugs you may have purchased especially from the company where I purchased my mug.
