After 30+ years of using this I still keep the large bottles in stock at home and in my studio/shop. Not really clear, slightly amber in color, and does darken over time as does every epoxy glue I have used. If appearance is critically important, follow the instructions and wippe off excess immediately. You can use acetone, but I recommend denatured alcohol kept in a spray bottle. It removes all epoxies and many other resins very efficiently - just spray on a cloth and wipe. Nicer to you hands as well. Bonds are excellent on wood, ceramics, glass, and many other surfaces. Not recommended for plastics, but there are other products in this brand that will work very well.
