Chicory Root-4oz- Ingredient of New Orleans Style Coffee

This is the perfect purchase for someone who wants to try out chicory without spending a lot of money. We looked everywhere locally (including Whole Foods) but the best they could do was a coffee/chicory blend. Once again Amazon to the rescue. The 4 ozs goes a long way and we've used it with coffee (naturally), baking and cooking. I love the taste it adds - a kind of mocha, deep winter woods extra something special. In fact, loved it so much that I just bought 16 ozs more to be sure I don't run out anytime soon.

The product is wonderful but it is a bit pricey for the amount you get. I didn't want to get a huge amount of Chicory because I was only using it for Mardi Gras but for the price, a bit more would have been nice. I made 3 Chemex pots of Chicory "Coffee" with 4 ounces.

I purchased this as a prebiotic in order to help my digestive system. I have Crohn's Disease and I like natural remedies. This has helped with my symptoms and I don't have any negative side effects. I like the idea of using this Chicory Root instead of the powdered inulin that others suggest, this seems like a more natural form than a powder. It also has a great taste, I mix it with black tea and add a little honey.

Tastes great and is best way to determine if you want to buy chicory. After purchase/testing you can buy larger amounts at lower per oz. prices without having to put up more money just to find out if you like it. I love this stuff. I think it's the best thing to come along for coffee since cups.

I thought it would make coffee taste better but it made my coffee soo bitter I had to toss my coffee. This stuff is horrible. In the garbage it goes. A total waste of money.

i was not impressed with this product. It is stronger than i expected.If you like strong coffee, then this is the product for you.

This was very good. Trying to stop drinking coffee and this has helped, great flavor.

I am great loyal fan for this product. With right blend of coffee and chicory, I can control the caffeine level, and yet maintain the great taste. Package is ideal for frequent fresh re-ordering.
