**Q: How long is the cable?**
A: I installed it in my short bed F100 and it had plenty of slack to route it outside the frame rail if wanted. But it is 82" long per the mfr website.

**Q: will this work on a 1971 Ford f100 4 speed manual tranny 360 V8 engine?**
A: Sorry i don't know. I used it on a 3 speed automatic fit ok but a little long thou.

**Q: Does anyone know if this will fit a 4x4 1982 f150 no cruise control?**
A: Y-801 is for 4x4 trucks with cruise control

**Q: Will this cable work in an AOD transmission?**
A: Yes. But attached to 1956 Ford speedometer.
