Review: Worked as expected. - Taking apart 40 year old carburetors, the JIS Phillips screws were locked in place from all the time & weather they'd seen. It was either strip them out, or use the impact driver, and the driver worked. All 8 screws broken loose with minimal effort, and I was on my way to rebuilding.

**Q: What does this do?**
A: Great for doing brake jobs the screws that attach the rotor to the hub that get frozen on it gets them right out with a couple of taps from the hammer. The bolts on the back of the caliper that holds the caliper holder to the frame same thing. So it's great at getting screws and nuts that are almost impossible to get off without stripping this tool if used correctly will do it.I believe the item description is clear. Very good product

**Q: Call me a dummy, but I could use more-specific instructions on how to set the direction of rotation.  Anyone clarify?**
A: You can push in the black end and twist. You'll feel it dip in, twist and then come up again on the other side of the mechanism. That has changed the direction of travel.

You can do this while actually using it in most cases, as the stuck fastener will let you push and twist to the direction of travel you want to be in.

You can also do it by hand.
