Check this link: https://mcnett.zendesk.com/entries/448256-Do-Aquamira-Water-Treatment-Drops-Remove-Viruses-and-Bacteria-This seems a response to specific products. While it says that chlorine dioxide kills Cryptosporidium and Giardia, it doesn't want to say it explicitly so until proven. **Q: What is the shelf life prior to opening the bottles and after opening ?** A: -Once treated with Aquamira Water Treatment, stored water has a 5 year shelf life.-Aquamira Treatment (itself) has a 4 year shelf life from manufacturing date on bottle. **Q: How many drops per liter?
