## Description

2014 is the 20th anniversary of Tical, the debut solo album of Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man, released November 15, 1994, on Def Jam Records. It was the first Wu-Tang solo album released after the group's debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Similar to all first generation solo Wu-Tang projects, Tical was mainly produced by group member RZA. The album features guest appearances from several Wu-Tang members including RZA, Raekwon, & Inspectah Deck. The album was a commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard 200, and number one on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. On July 13, 1995, it was certified platinum. This success was driven by its two singles, "Bring the Pain" and "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By". Tical has since been hailed by several music critics as a hip hop classic and its success is matched by its influence as a major piece in the East coast hip hop renaissance.

After the groundbreaking debut from the Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man was the 2nd of the 9 members to release a solo album.1. Tical - Great beat, Meth comes real nice, hook is good - 4.5/52. Biscuits - Nice beat, Meth spits some nice ish, no hook - 4/53. Bring the Pain - Nice beat, Meth tears it up, hook is good - 4/54. All I Need - Great beat, Meth murders it, hook is good - 4.5/55. What the Blood Clot - Good beat, Meth rips a nice verse, his verse goes for just under 2 minutes then he talks for the remainder of the song, no hook - 3.5/56. Meth vs. Chef (Featuring Raekwon) - BANGIN beat, Meth and Rae tear this track to shreds, no hook but still great - 4.5/57. Sub Crazy - Horrible beat, Meth comes nice, hook is good - 3/58. Release Yo' Delf (Featuring Blue Raspberry) - Good beat, Meth comes real nice, Blue Raspberry does a great hook - 5/59. P.L.O. Style (Featuring Carlton Fisk) - Good beat, Meth and Carlton come good, hook is alright - 3.5/510. I Get My Thang in Action - Great beat, Meth rips the beat, hook is good besides the talking - 4.5/511. Mr. Sandman (Featuring Inspectah Deck, The RZA, Streetlife, & Carlton Fisk) - Bangin beat, everyone comes nice, hook is decent - 4.5/512. Stimulation (Featuring Blue Raspberry) - Good beat, Meth doesn't disappoint, Blue Raspberry is nice on the hook - 4.5/513. Method Man [Remix] - Good beat, Meth rips it, hook is good - 5/5Overall: 55/654 StarsThe production on this album was classic. It only had 1 weak track but besides that, it was great. Meth proved he was one of the best from the Wu-Tang by releasing this great piece of work.

Wonderful! Alice, pinch me, I think we're in Kansas!

The best method man album! He really shines on here with classics like meth vs chef, METHID man 2, stimulation, and tical. He really lets his talents shine on songs like all I need and bring the pain, and I can say that mr sandman is a wonderful introduction/allusion to horror core, as that is a vastly overlooked sub genre with a. Lot of creative potential, and I was glad to see that this album has a tinge of that to it.

Finally a good press from Wu!

Very nice, Wu-Tang finally pressed a vinyl Of quality. I have Wu essentials and 36 Chambers and those two are pressed like garbage especially the essentials. It is thin as paper. Im sure without the quality carts I have those probably would barely play. I’m satisfied with this vinyl.
