And there have been lots of reports of them melting. I contact that company and they told me that Microhearth has never had round knobs on their cookware. I took a chance and ordered this knob. It works PERFECTLY! If you've had a knob melt, order this. You'll be glad you did and you'll get to continue to use the cookware we love.
Review: Good Handle..But? - I gave this three stars because all I needed was the screw that attaches the handle to the lid. There's nothing wrong with the handle I have, all I needed was the screw that fell apart. After contacting the manufacturer I was told that the only way to get the screw was to order the handle/screw set for $8.98. This may seem petty but why should I have to buy a handle, that I don't need, to get a screw that probably costs about 25 cents?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your 'Microhearth' knob has melted, this is your answer!

Many of us have ordered online what were supposedly 'Microhearth' pans that had round knobs, not knobs shaped like those pictured. And there have been lots of reports of them melting. I contact that company and they told me that Microhearth has never had round knobs on their cookware. I took a chance and ordered this knob. It works PERFECTLY! If you've had a knob melt, order this. You'll be glad you did and you'll get to continue to use the cookware we love.
