You don't get screws because they wouldn't knpw what depth of wood you are screwing it i to but you do get the mounting plates and legs. So really all you need are the screws. They're fantastic, I literally made a work desk in 5 minutes. They came so quickly as well, consdering I am in Northern Ireland and they had to clear the silly irish sea border too. **Q: Are the mounting brackets welded to the legs or do they come separate?** A: If I remember correctly, the plate is attached to the leg with a hexagonal-head bolt, but it's no problem. I believe it took me about 10minutes to fix a full set of 4 to the desk I made. **Q: Are either the top or the bottom pieces of these legs detachable so that you could shorten them by sawing a section off?** A: Yes,we needed 40mm off each leg So no problem **Q: Are these suitable for outdoor use?** A: Hi Thank you for your email.
