Review: So easy to use, can't beat the convience and simplicity! - We had a water leak at a T in our manufactured home and it was on the old PB plastic piping. Since that is piping discontinued and I have no crimping tools anyway I researched the Sharkbite fittings due to their claim that you need no tools, just measure the depth and slide them on. I was a bit skeptical at first but I was in a bind so purchased two PB to Pex fittings, a Pex T and an Pex Shut off. I watched a youtube video before attempting the repairs just to get an idea what I needed to do. Cutting out the old pipe T, then installing the two PB to Pex fittings with a section between that included the new Pex T, and then the new shut from the T took me 15 minutes. I popped on the water and no leaks, worked perfectly. These things are the real deal and will save you a ton of time and hassle! I can sweat copper pipe as well but for future repairs I may just use these fittings, no sense in wasting my time when I can measure, cut, push to install and then you're done.

We had a water leak at a T in our manufactured home and it was on the old PB plastic piping. Since that is piping discontinued and I have no crimping tools anyway I researched the Sharkbite fittings due to their claim that you need no tools, just measure the depth and slide them on. I was a bit skeptical at first but I was in a bind so purchased two PB to Pex fittings, a Pex T and an Pex Shut off. I watched a youtube video before attempting the repairs just to get an idea what I needed to do. Cutting out the old pipe T, then installing the two PB to Pex fittings with a section between that included the new Pex T, and then the new shut from the T took me 15 minutes. I popped on the water and no leaks, worked perfectly. These things are the real deal and will save you a ton of time and hassle!
