The first card I got did not function correctly as it kept disappearing from the phone. However BlueProton was quick to replace the defective card with a new one. This one works great. Just pop it in the phone and it configures the card for tunes, pictures, etc. I couldn't tell from the discription if this card would work but the SanDisk cards are designed to work in various types of phones. This particular card is listed on the SanDisk website to work in the Motorola Maxx VE as well as the LG VX8700. My wife has the 8700 while I have the Maxx VE. By the way, it works for a lot of others as well.
