I looked the Snapmaker and there is some sort of CAN hub you can use to make a connection. Passively monitoring is more tricky - that's best done with a specific tool such as a Kvaser analyzer or a logic analyzer if you pick off the CAN signals after they have been converted from CANH/CANL by a logic transceiver.
