Never had a problem with these. A bit pricier than others but it's the only one so far that's been reliable. Master makes a big, fancy looking lock that's supposed to be for outdoor use. We tried a 6-pack of those and every one failed. The dials just freeze up on them, you need to bang on the with something or sometimes just cut the lock off entirely.
