**Q: How many soaks are in this 2 pound container?**
A: I have not used the product yet, but the instructions are for 3 scoops per gallon. Further, the directions ask for two steps...a pre-soak and longer soak with fresh solution.  Each scoop is 2 tablespoons so each gallon solution would contain 6 Tablespoons of the powder. 2 pounds equals 64 Tablespoons so the container should make almost 11 soaks (10 ⅔) divided by by two for a two step process for 5 ⅓ treatments. For additive to laundry, three scoops per load is  suggested. For metric users, each scoop is 29.6 CC and the canister holds .91KG.

**Q: Can I use this with pillowcases that are white that are hand embroidered?**
A: Yes. I used on hand embroidered pillow cases with colored threads and it did not damage the handwork or fade the colors.

**Q: Can this be sprayed on an old couch?**
A: Because it works very slowly in a soaking fashion, I am not sure spraying it on would work. Sometimes I leave things soaking in it for days and days.  Maybe if you soaked a towel and put it on the couch and kept it wet there for a few days it might be successful.  I just do not know.

**Q: Can this only be used for whites?**
A: I’ve used to brighten up patchwork quilts with lots of color. Works great!
