It's best to get the full use out of the battery before recharging it. When it's almost run down charge it don't leave them uncharged for a long time that is the worst thing you can do with any rechargeable battery. If you half charge a battery your charging it many more times than needed to get the full use. Charge it use it charge it. Almost every thing I use rechargeable batteries I have two sets one in use one charging. I also number my batteries in sets for what I use them in so two batteries in one hand set will be 4 batteries a1 a1 b2 b2 each battey is charged at the same time. One set used one charging. Had my batteries for years and always get the longest use out of them before having to charge them again. Having two sets also means no down time as you always have a new freshly charged set ready to use. **Q: Can you use them for solar powered units** A: If you mean to place into Solar Garden Lights I do not see why not as I do use them on my own garden lighting.. **Q: 1.5 volts or 1.2 volts ?** A: 1.2 volts **Q: To buyers in october/november - are they labelled made in japan? or china? what size battery did you get? how many in the pack? thanks in advance** A: Answering in March / April 2020 in case it matters. Good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not to be trusted (2) *by S***D on 24 March 2025* Further to my review yesterday titled 'not to be trusted' suggesting the batteries were faulty was not a fair one. Yesterday I had a further 2 batteries which were 'dead' and my 'intelligent' charger status was null so I was beginning think that something wasn't quite right so I put then in a 'not so clever charger' for a short while and they have come back to life. I'm still not sure how 2 of 4 batteries could be 'dead' and the security light still working and why there was such a discrepancy of charge when all the batteries were charged at the same time.
