I think I may have been shipped a PAL only unit since it only shows a B&W image on the DVR and my tester unit shows it as a PAL signal. I think I was originally able to access the menu but it no longer responds to the menu command. It does accept PTZ commands and has a fair picture and zoom range. Given what I paid I guess it is OK.
