## Description

Protorq TORX PLUS IPR, Torx Plus 5-Point Tamper-Proof Security Bits (IPR 7-IPR 40), 25mm, 10 -Pieces, High Grade S2 Steel - desertcart.com

Review: Excellent quality. Great that desertcart had this hard-to-find tool. - Great set of bits for the price since when you need them, nothing else will do. I needed these Torx Plus bits to repair the charger for my BMW I3 electric car. The neighbor's dog chewed up the power cord and I needed to open the unit to replace it. It's working fine now at a savings of over $200.
Review: Exactly what I needed - I couldn't find these anywhere else besides here. Needed the 5 point security torx bit, but all I could find were 6 pointed ones. I purposely bought this one because it came in a set. I didnt know what size bits I needed, so this variety pack was great. I like how it came with a holder for easy storage. Seems of good quality. I used it on my car side mirror

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between torx plus ipr special and torx security?**
A: Please note TORX PLUS IPR is five point torx security drive type, Torx security is six point star security drive type.

**Q: I have screws on utility trailer with 8 slots what bit do i use**
A: Thanks for your question. According to your description, we guess the drive type for screws you have on utility trailer should be spider drive screws, we currently not supply spider drive bits on Amazon. We will consider to provide this drive type in future. Thanks.

**Q: How long are they?**
A: 150mm or approx. 6" long

**Q: are the bits magnetic? do they stay inside the magnetic socket?**
A: Dear Sir,

Please kindly note that these bits are without magnetism. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks and take care.

Best regards

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the job!
*by E***O on July 18, 2025*

One of those crazy random tools that you’ll never need until that one day….. That said, the one bit in the set that I actually needed did the job a-ok. I’ve used tamper torx and tamper torx plus before that rounded right off or broke into pieces on the first use - not these. They seemed solid enough. I’d recommend you go easy with them though. Do NOT try to over tighten with these bits. You’ll regret that. 👍🏻
