Installation went much easier than expected since native Linux drivers exist for this device. No additional software was required from the base XUBUNTU 8.04 installation and no command line input was required.It is working fine on my WEP-64 protected (?) network providing sufficient throughput to stream Youtube videos and streaming audio smoothly to my Sony HDTV. The device is has proven to be compatible with my Linsys WRT54G and Netgear WGR614 home routers.I previously used this USB2.0 wireless device on a P3 833 MHz Windows 2000 machine where it maintained good link over 40 feet distance through three walls.
