If your PC is slow to start up, this is a great place to make some improvements for very little money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 *by S***M on 28 January 2015* When i got this and set it up as my main drive i instantly noticed a difference in my startup times, used to take a minute or two, now loads up without an issue. 10/10 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This 1000GB Hybrid drive replaces a 500GB conventional drive that ... *by A***H on 23 October 2015* This 1000GB Hybrid drive replaces a 500GB conventional drive that was only 20% full. To start computer, log in, open the BBC News website, open Excel and open a certain recent spreadsheet previously (old drive) took 3min 59secs, now (new drive) takes vastly varying times but usually 2min 37secs. A descent speed increase but not 75% saving hoped for. My computer may have, of course, other problems slowing it down that I don't know about. ## Frequently Bought Together - (Old Model) Seagate 1TB Desktop SSHD(Solid State Hybrid Drive) SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST1000DX001) - SAMSUNG 870 EVO SATA III SSD 1TB 2.5” Internal Solid State Drive, Upgrade PC or Laptop Memory and Storage for IT Pros, Creators, Everyday Users, MZ-77E1T0B/AM - BENFEI SATA to USB Cable, 2in1 USB-C/USB 3.0 to SATA III Hard Driver Adapter Compatible for 2.5 inch HDD and SSD --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/158795603-seagate-st1000dx001](https://www.desertcart.at/products/158795603-seagate-st1000dx001) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
