Bought these largely for cutting green onion. They work best when you cut 1-2 onions at a time. I attempted to cut the bunch of onions, and they didn't perform very well. I also attempted to use them for a few other applications (cutting lettuce) but feel these are largely suited for green onion specifically. Therefore, are they good for green onion? Yes. Other things? Not really. I guess you have to decide if they are worth having in your kitchen to realistically be a single use item.
