I used it on two different types of doors, one with vintage hinges and the other with modern day hinges; in both instances it worked like a charm. I'd never worked on door hinges before. In what universe it does something to door hinges I just fail to grasp. You will scrape doors hinges frame spending hopeless hours trying to get something out of it.
