Wll worth the $ *by R***I on November 17, 2016* I only had the unit a week, but at first glance it is looks like it will be the best dehumidifier I have ever owned and well worth the cost. It has three different methods of draining. 1) It has the standard bucket. 2) A plastic gravity hose about 3 feet long and 1/4 inch in diameter. 3) It comes with a rather unique option which I have never seen before. It has another plastic hose about 1/8 inch in diameter and about 12 feet long. This connects to a built in pump. It comes in handy when a drain is not in proximity to the unit or on an incline. It has two fan speeds and an auto defrost function if need in cold environments. There are 2 displays. One displays the room temperature and the second the room humidity. There are 3 modes of operation. 1) You could delay start time with settings from 1 to 24 hours. 2) You can auto shutoff the unit with settings from 1 to 24 hours. 3) There is the standard 'just set the humidity' and let the unit do it's thing. When the humidity level is reached the unit goes into sleep mode and just monitors the air.
