And I sure am not disappointed. Its an beautiful, colorful, give-wings-to-your-imagination kinda book. The dots do amazing things - increase, change color, move to one side of the book, etc. The instructions accompanying the pages and simple and clear. But that said, this book did not engage my 2.3 year old a lot. He calls in the 'Dot book', but he loses interest at about page 4 or 5. Also while the cover is a hardcover, the pages inside are glossy and relatively thin. My independent 2 year old wants to turn them on his own and I am not sure it will withstand this assault. I have kept this book aside for now, and plan to reintroduce it when he is about 2.8 years. I am pretty sure he will love it.
