A: In general it is a wax product.  A little softer than candle wax.

**Q: Is this product oderless?**
A: yes...i didn't notice any odor when i was applying this to my door

**Q: Is this a wax product?**
A: It’s definitely “wax” like but there might some grease mixed in. Check their website for more info.

**Q: Is this good for squeaking door hinges?**
A: No... Door Ease is only for lubricating wood products that touch each other.
Use Slick-50 or WR-40 for lubricating hinges.
