After setting it has been sturdy. In use it has good workability and applied with a small brush to both surfaces.Once mixed it can be kept in the jar, but needs heating to use again as it forms a stiff jelly at room temperature.The advantage - and disadvantage - is that application of heat and/or moisture can loosen it so it is not irreversible like synthetic glues, so it is not for external use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does a great job without having to buy a large quantity. *by I***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2013* I suggest you do a bit of web research and some testing before trying this out on a real repair. The glue must not get too hot or it loses its adhesive properties so always use a thermometer. I re-glued a violin neck on with no problems but you should experiment to get the consistency just right and don't be afraid to brush on plenty of hot glue; it wipes off easily with a hot, damp rag. For a small repair job I use a small glass fish paste jar inside a slightly bigger jar filled with boiling water. Be careful not stir too vigorously; this creates lots of air tiny bubbles and it weakens the final bond.
