This is a FANTASTIC game no matter what map you're playing on. Since I never play at high player counts like 5-6 (I rarely even play at 4) I don't need all the extra stuff from the base game. This standalone box seats 4 and the map is tight and can get very aggressive. Overall If you like train games, and/or you're thinking about getting in to this particular series. I would NOT recommend the base game or its 10th anniversary edition. Start with Nippon.
