It's basically the same as Pepto Bismol, but it tastes much better.You can use it on your dog, also (but apparently it's not safe for cats because it contains salicylates). Use a small syringe to squirt it into the dog's mouth, 5 ml for a 20-pound dog. My elderly dog needs a small dose of it almost every day. Without it, he gets terrible digestive problems and can't process his food. He seems to like the taste and looks forward to getting dosed, because it makes him feel better within a few minutes. I believe this product has extended his life substantially.
