I wore to work and it felt so lightweight I had to check to see if was still around my waist. It felt like maybe it had fallen off! Somewhat hip hugging if yours are not perfect. Fits as shown in the picture, a slip conceals imperfections. I am usually a 16 and I got the XL. It seems to loosen slightly as the day goes along. I need thigh and tummy shapewear to smooth the lumps that won't disappear with any exercise. A nylon slip prevents the cling. Otherwise, comfortable and the colors are nice. Very soft and lightweight. It is very long and flowing on me at 5'8. I do not fold the waist but if you are shorter you probably will. I would definitely not put this in the washing machine or dryer. Nice skirt but the material is very thin. I have two of them and they are go-to staples. They are very flattering (I have an hourglass figure and wear it unfolded/high waisted). People always comment that I look dressed up, but these are basically my version of sweatpants!The size is also very forgiving - I’ve had a lot of weight fluctuations in the past ~4 years I’ve had them, but I can always wear these skirts and feel good.They also have held up so well, with no pilling or discoloration. I have had one of these in my cart for a long time but my originals are in such good shape I can’t justify it yet! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bad odor *by G***J on April 23, 2025* This arrived and fits well I'm a size small. Only problem is it had such a severe bad odor to the fabric that I had to hand wash it in strong smelling detergent to get the smell out. The smell is still there slightly but much better. Not sure if it was the sizing or the fabric or the dye.
