I wanted to add a 2.5 gb ethernet card to my Dell desktop pc and this one fit the bill. The card was immediately recognized by Windows 11 and performs well. It seems like PCI cards are becoming a more specialized thing, given the majority of PC's being laptops these days and the ubiquity of laptops and faster USB ports.
