I do have to press MUCH harder in order for my phone to recognize it's being used. I will say this though, I dropped my phone right as I was getting out of my car and I'm not sure what it hit, but when I picked it up the screen protector had a puncture mark in it and several cracks radiated out from the mark. I took off the glass protector and my phone screen itself was perfectly fine.
