What are the Ingredients?** A: According to the label, the ingredients are : sugar, ginger, lemon juice, mixed spice, and citric acid...in that order. There are nice sized pieces of ginger, and the result is a delicious spread. I wouldn't be without it at my house. **Q: Im actually not looking for a spiced ginger preserves so i need to know what the mixed spices are. I want a plain ginger preserve** A: I don’t know what the ‘mixed spices’ are. Maybe a tiny bit of cinnamon. But, the overwhelming flavor is a good strong ginger. We love it! **Q: Is this just 1 each 12oz jar?** A: Its just one jar but it is delicious. **Q: How many grams of sugar per serving?** A: There are 12 grams per serving. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very tasty and versatile jam! *by C***H on June 4, 2026* I love this ginger jam as it goes so well with chicken, pork and fish. It has good chunks of ginger in it which i love. It is just like regular jelly or jam (as it is called in the states) but it bursts with flavor. It is shipped in a glass jar but i have ordered it 3 times and never one broken jar at all. If you like ginger its worth the try! ## Frequently Bought Together - Mackays Ginger Preserve, 12 Ounce - Tuscanini Italian Lemon Ginger Preserves, 11.64 oz Jar | 35% Real Fruit | Premium Spreadable Fruit Jam |No High Fructose Corn Syrup | No Preservatives | Non GMO |Gluten Free | Certified Kosher - Tiptree Orange Marmalade, 12 Ounce Jar --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/16454148-mackays-ginger-preserve-12-ounce](https://www.desertcart.at/products/16454148-mackays-ginger-preserve-12-ounce) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
