**Q: I recently waxed my car with carnuba wax. Do I need to wait for it to wear off before applying a sealant? If so, how long should I wait?**
A: Do not apply a polymer sealant over a wax. The sealant will soak into and bond with the paint and that is why they offer longer protection than wax. Unless you have just polished your paint, use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water sprayed onto a microfiber towel and wipe your entire care to remove any trace of wax, then you can apply the sealant. Wax just sits on top of the surface it is applied onto, a sealant needs to be able to bond with the paint and wax will inhibit that. As a pro detailer, I always follow a synthetic/polymer sealant with a good carnuba paste wax and the results are amazing. For optimum results, if you have a garage, wait a day to let the sealant cure and then apply the wax. Also, if you top off a sealant with a wax, make sure it is a wax with zero cleaner in it - the cleaning ability of a cleaner wax will start to wear away your sealant.

**Q: I'm doing the first "wax" on a solid red urethane paint job. Will this sealant get along with my 2 month old paint?**
A: Make sure it's clean, then yes, perfect

**Q: Can this be used to seal plastic headlights?**
A: It can be used after the headlight has had a good uv clear application to finish the job.

**Q: can I apply a ceramic coating on top of this , naturally waiting 24hrs after for it to cure?**
A: I apply insulator 845 wax.  Works great.  I also use a ceramic spray retailer in between wax jobs last 3-4 months
