I was a little surprised to see this on his list because both his kids are under 4 years but, as a lover of science, I love to encourage young people to explore and learn. The book is full of age appropriate experiments you can help your child with and they don't take a lot of time. All ingredients and supplies are listed with each experiment. My nephew was so excited to get started with the experiments he asked his parents if he could sleep with the book the first night he had it. That, to me, was worth the cost of the book. Who knows?
