It is lightweight yet warm and perfect for a southern winter. The jacket's exterior pockets zip shut which I like and there is an interior pocket perfect for a cell phone. The navy color is very flattering. I am 5'6" and 120 and, due to other reviews I ordered a medium rather than a small and it fits perfectly with enough room for a sweater or hoodie underneath. My wife looks very nice in it, not too bulky. She wears it a lot, and she looks very nice in it. She says the jacket is very light weight and is easy to put on and take off. My wife and I would recommend the jacket ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I could easily keep either one but returned the large *by N***L on July 21, 2018* I normally wear and 8 - 10, and ordered both a large and an extra large due to all the chatter about sizing. I could easily keep either one but returned the large. It is a thin jacket - but that is what I expected and wanted. I anticipate the down will work as the insulator. I am able to comfortably wear a warm sweater underneath for layering. In addition, I can also comfortably wear a short spring raincoat on top (not all 3 together). This is important since I purchased this for an Alaskan cruise and I'm told there could be rainy days and with the hooded raincoat I hope to be both warm and dry. I live in a warm climate state so I can't comment on the 'warmth factor' until I return from the cruise. As promised, fits into pouch nicely and won't take up much room in my luggage.
