**Q: What is the shaft length?**
A: From the center of the shaft to the longest arm is 9 inches I made a large clock and they are perfect for my clock

**Q: Is the black round removable, to be mounted w/o and how long is the shaft**
A: Yes the center cover can be removed. The shaft is 1/2" to the tip.

**Q: I got a bit confused, how big is the actual round clock piece in middle, i understand length of clock hands?**
A: the round part on clock hands is 4” that is the round black part the hands go on  if you need more info please let me know

Purchased this clock hand set for a home made wall clock we designed. It was the perfect size and design. Love that it came with two style options. We chose the more contemporary look. I love the look of the clock, and it's almost always accurate (slows down tiny bit every week or so) but easy to reset back to the right time. My biggest disappointment was that the second hand (primary motivation for this purchase) works only with the fancier hands, and not with the straight hands (which are the ones I prefer). Otherwise, I'm happy that I finally have my kitchen clock working again! Mahalo nui, By the way, it might help when you send these clocks to the u.s. if you could include the first carbon battery with the note that they ONLY work with carbon batteries (which may not be available in a given area - such as where *I* live!). That was my only surprise. The second hand not working with my preferred hour- and minute hands was my only disappointment. They look really nice, and tell time for me once I finally received the batteries I ordered.
