Review: It just works perfectly - I use this with a BTT SKR MINI E3 V1.2 controler board which allows me to use either the touch screen or the Marlin screen. I don't think you could use both screen modes on the Creality control board but I'm not sure. Most of the time, I use the Marlin scroll menu but having the touch screen is great for things like homing it. For the price point, I think it is well worth it for the convenience. Updating it is easy too, just follow the instructions on the bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-TouchScreenFirmware github site.

**Q: Does this have the same print failure problem as the tft35 v3.0? randomly stopping while still powering extruder/bed.**
A: I’ve never seen that issue. I’ve only run into the overheating x axis driver. Amazon replaced it immediately when it happened.

**Q: Does this work with ender 5 pro silent board, or do i need the bigtreetech board as well?**
A: This screen can work with stock boards, BTT mainboard is NOT a requirement. You can run it in marlin mode and connect just the display ribbon cables. If your board happens to have a serial connection available, you can connect the TFT as well, just be mindful of the pins. In TFT mode, the screen just sends GCode like any other terminal interface would.

**Q: Ender 3 pro, already installed a mini e3 v2 board. is the tft e3 v3.0 pretty much just plug and play now? running marlin 2.0.7.2**
A: It is as close to plug and play as it gets.  If you watch some of TeachingTech's videos on Youtube, he shows exactly what needs to be done to properly install and configure the screen.

I upgraded my old Anet AM8 printer with an SKR Mini E3 V3 mainboard. Knowing that the old display is not readily compatible with the new board, I purchased the TFT 35 display. Compared to the problems I had to work through with the mainboard, the install of this was pretty straight forward. After installation, I updated the firmware to the Round Miracle Theme. It looks great. I like that you have the option to switch back to the LCD mode if you so desire. This was a great upgrade from the stock display.
