Turn the headphones on as Bluetooth. Turn the cd player on. Press the "FUN." button on the cd player until the source of your audio (music?) shows on the display. Choices are "cd - usb - bt - aux". Wait until the audio starts playing. The press the "FUN." button until the Bluetooth symbol flashes on the display. The connection should be connected between the cd player and your headphones. The manual is a little confusing about the procedure to use. You should be close to the cd player with your Bluetooth headphones when initially connecting. But then you can move around with the headphones as long as stay within about 30 feet. You might want to make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby the cd player. I thought that I would be able to hook it up to the Bluetooth, but after much frustration and researching I realized this only receives Bluetooth - it does not send. So, then I bought a Bluetooth converter on Amazon so I could use it. That didn't even work since it would not recognize the CD player. I was extremely disappointed. It was a nice, slim player with a good sound, but for this price I wanted something that would go through my car speakers.
