He was still on his pajamas, but wanted to try it. It was cold so he only took 4 shots. He hit the target with all 4. He likes it very much. I tried it out before him to make sure my makeshift target would work. On the first shot the arrow rest came off. I may use gorilla glue or epoxy for it next time. I shot 14 arrows after that and hit the target with all. It was quite windy and the shots weren’t terribly consistent, but I have no training at archery either. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it for anyone wanted to gauge a beginner’s interest without a huge financial investment. Original review: Bought as a present for my son. It arrived quickly and is just what I was looking for to judge his interest in picking up archery as a hobby.
