We are on well water with high iron and calcium, so I use bottled spring water as recommended by a Laurastar rep. Would be even better if it would stand up on its own when folded, but it’s easy enough to move around and lean up against a wall.

A: This product has been designed to work with tap water. It is also recommended to use the Laurastar granules or anti-scale cartridges, which prevent limescale, filter salts, and are anti-corrosive

**Q: Does this have continuous on mode? I don’t like auto shut off**
A: Yes the Smart I does have continuous on mode.  To override the auto shut off turn the system off.  Then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds or until the lights start blinking.  This indicates the auto shut off has been overridden.

Box was damaged when it arrived but still accepted delivery. This is my 3rd Laura Star iron and not as nice as the other 2 that I have owned. Would really appreciate more literature in English of features instead of books of directions in various languages. Much noisier that the ones that I previously owned. Hoping it holds up well for the price!
