Simple yet innovative framing system promotes tight and precise fitting along with excellent joint strength. By wrapping heavy duty elastic bands around mitered corners repeatedly with tent tension, compressive force multiplies directly on miter joints. Once corners are held under concentrated clamping pressure, adhesive backed corner brackets are securely fastened with screws to provide strong structural support. For user-friendliness, clamp assemblies are compact in size and mount directly onto mitered corners. This allows work in progress to be handled while under constant support of clamping pressure. And with 4 clamp assemblies there's no need to wait for glue to setup at one corner before proceeding to work on another. Consequently, frame assembly proceeds at a quick and efficient pace. TightJointz joins the vast majority of picture frame molding. Handles molding from about 3/4 of an inch in width, as measured to/from rabbet, to just over 3 Inch Kit includes: 8 Camp-Bands (2 sets) Just heavy duty, extra-large (10 inch flat) elastic bands rated at 700-percent elongation. Made from premium grade rubber for durability and repeated use. Extra set is for large frames and/or wide molding. 4 TightJointz Tools - rugged tools harness elastic tension and target concentrated clamping pressure at 4 mitered corners. 2 sets Corner-rackets - Adhesive backed corner hardware with accompanying screws for assembly of 2 frames. Additional sets may be purchased separately. Printed Instructions and an 3 inch instructional DVD.
