It says they are also suitable for fish but I haven’t used them for that. However they are somewhat smaller and weigh a lot less than the shears they replace and really should not be described as 'heavy duty'. The blade lock has a tendency to engage in use. The packaging is way over the top and clearly expensive. The cost would have been far better spent on the shears themselves.
