I was under impression I need center cut end mill for boring metal, am I wrong?** A: Two or three flute center cutting end mill most 4 flute are not center cutting and will go a horrible job. Two flute end mills in very sharp condition best done on a larger heavy duty drill press 12 inches or more swing. The Quill arbor and bearings need to be tight with minimal slop. Drill press needs to be capable of low speed to avoid chatter.
