**Q: does the clock light up so that you can see it in the dark?**
A: Not that I could tell.  Btw, clock is good, not great.  Display and design are good, with large digits, but clock runs a few minutes fast per month and has to be set back periodically.

Nice clock, but it doesn't keep very good time. In just a week it's about a minute fast. In other words it's not very accurate for a digital clock. Other than that it works pretty well.

So I bought this clock last Christmas. Grandmother loved it! Then grandfather knocked it on the floor and it broke. So we had to get another one because Grandmother loved it so much. It does run about two minutes fast, but it is the easiest clocked to program. Love it. Love it.

Too transparent, can hardly see the numbers. It has to be positioned in front of a light colored background. Battered operated so you can move it anywhere. Not worth sending back. Will keep it but would not buy another one.
