Instead of dealing with the 1 lb propane bottles which are always running out at inconvenient times, simply grab this adapter and your extra 20 lb tank and you're good to go. The gauge is a nice touch that separates this product from other similar ones, and seems to be accurate. I wish my full-size grill had such a gauge! I did keep the original packing material to protect the threads et cetera while the hose is packed with the other camping gear.

This adapter works exactly as you would expect. Instead of dealing with the 1 lb propane bottles which are always running out at inconvenient times, simply grab this adapter and your extra 20 lb tank and you're good to go. The gauge is a nice touch that separates this product from other similar ones, and seems to be accurate. I wish my full-size grill had such a gauge! I did keep the original packing material to protect the threads et cetera while the hose is packed with the other camping gear.

The item is exactly as described and it fits my needs exactly. With this sturdy hose I can now stop using those irritating *small* green canisters. This hose hooks up just as if I was attaching a green canister, but it then the other end gets hooked up to a larger propane tank. Having a propane volume guage is a plus. Cooking bliss 😊.
