There is a teeny bit of wear, but flat black isn't really what I was going for myself. Personally I think it looks more attractive after a year of light use (shopping lists and other personal reminders). If you're expecting classroom level use, I don't know but would guess it would need an annual repaint to keep it sharp. **Q: Do chalk pen drawings come off easily?** A: No. I couldn't easily "erase"/remove the writing and had to unfortunately paint it again. **Q: Can it be sprayed on with a paint sprayer?** A: Theoretically yes, but i wouldn't try it. The paint is thicker than normal paint. It might not end very well **Q: Is it magnetic?** A: No, it is not but you can buy magnetic primer.
